    Thank you everyone for replying to this thread, I am glad I asked "THE " question and have been intrigued by your answers. Lovely to see so many of you talked about the Beatles !! As I initially said my 1st single was The Moody Blues, but my favourite was Cliff Richard and he is still going strong and now in his 70's --- do look him up for those of you who haven't heard of him !!!!!!!
    I also loved all Tamla Motown, Four Tops, Diana Ross, Temptations Stevie Wonder etc. could go on and on, Cher and Tina Turner, the list is endless !!
    Thanks again, getting excited as going to the Festival of Quilts tomorrow !!

    Mine too! It was mono, not even stereo. It was 3.12 with tax.
