Recently I've been craving food that comes out of boxes and cans. Okay, I always eat a certain amount of that stuff, but this past week I've eaten stuff I stopped buying years ago. So I wondered, what does everyone else like in the way of processed foods?

I mean, we all know they're not good for you, and yet people buy them, because store shelves are full of them.

I'm not talking about restaurant food or snacks, but about stuff you prepare.

Things I bought and made this past week:

Hamburger Helper
Betty Crocker Au Gratin Potatoes
Stove Top Stuffing
Chef Boyardee Cheese Ravioli

What do you buy?

(I know, this is an inane topic for a thread, but I really got to wondering.)

My kids love mac & cheese - the microwaveable packs.
I always have a supply of those packs in the cupboard for mealtime emergencies.

Once in a while stove top and some of the pasta salads. They are quick and handy when I am in a hurry :D:D:D

Sounds like you're craving salt as those are high (extremely) in sodium content.

I stopped eating processed foods. I eat veggies, fruits, meats, eggs, etc, and the only processed foods I consume are protein bars/shakes and salad dressing.

If I have a craving, I am guilty of eating M&M's and bread and chocolate milk (not all together)LOL.

DH and I try not to eat much processed... just some mac and cheese or ramen every once in a while.

Well I haven't bought any of that in years, but I did buy 2lbs of bologna last week. I've ate it almost every meal. there's about 3 slices left. We normally don't eat packaged things or processed but here lately due to the heat we too have been looking at things to stick in the microwave and not heat up the house.

Uncle Bob's Gluten Free Brownie mix and Dove ice cream bars. Other than that, it's all homemade. Whoops, an occasional pound of low fat smoked sausage.
