I just finished An Echo in the Bone. Before that I read the whole series a 2nd time, just to refresh my memory for Echo. By the time the next one comes out I'll probably have to re-read them all yet again...I love it!

When quilting listening to The Few by Alex Kershaw a true account of American flyers who risked their citizenship to fly & fight Germany with the British before US entered WW2. Reading The Red Tent by Anita Diamant about Dinah, Jacob's daughter in the old Testament. Also recommend The Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers and Shadow Women by Angela Hunt if you like Biblical/historical fiction. Angie also wrote The Note made into a Hallmark movie. Her husband is our Middle School Pastor (about 300 of them!) and she is a prolific author.

According to Diana Gabaldon's site, she's hoping to have it reading for publication sometime in 2012.

Just finished reading Dove in the Window by Earlene Fowler. It is about quilters and a mystery.
I have also read several Jennifer Chiaverna which has underground railroad quilting in them.

Thanks for the info, I may have to re-read Echo, since the next one doesn't come out for a year or so. My mind doesn't remember things like it used too !

I just realized you live in British Columbia. What a beautiful place. I visited Victoria and Vancouver years ago. I loved Buschart Gardens and High Tea at the Empress Hotel was such a treat ! Everyplace I went it was so green and luscious !

Just finished Dean Koontz' "Tick Tock" and am now horribly annoyed that I spent a few hours reading that, when I could have been quilting! I enjoyed some of his writings... this one not so much!
