Running out of paper towels or toilet paper. Someone not putting an item on the grocery list that they just used the last of. Co-workers gossiping or whispering when you are three feet away. Whether it is about me or not, I think it's just rude.

Forwarding a prayer is one thing-turning it into a chain letter with a hex/curse/promise attached is superstitious garbage and totally negates the power of true prayer. The Bible is pretty specific about the nonsense of this type of thing. I always delete them and my house is still standing and my dog is still alive. If I do forward the picture or the message I delete all the "forward to 10 people or else" junk and simply let my friends know I was thinking of them or praying for them. Just wanted to throw my 2 cents into the conversation!

BUT, if I forward it (thus continuing the curse, in my opinion), then I'll get a gazillion dollars in the mail, etc.

I told her to REALY think about the message she's sending! If I don't do her bidding, then my life becomes a shambles. Somehow, I think God will forgive me if I ignore these types of emails. I can think of my own prayers and, prefer not to buy into such superstitious nonsense. Not to be irreligious but what is a Novena? A prayer?

Sorry, had to vent. Guess this is really a pet peeve of mine!

I get upset with people who drive in fog without their lights on. What makes them think they are so special that I would be able to see them when I can't see the front of my own car! (Sorry... we have alot of fog here in the mornings).

Oh I have a friend who sends those to me, I love the message, but I am with you, I don't have to pass it on for God to love me, I send it to one person on the board and to my hubbys e-mail, but only for the beautiful message. Penny

Please forgive me if I hurt anyone's feelings. But some of us may have more time to read through threads than others. I work full time and do check the board as I can if I'm not real busy, simply because I LOVE this board and all the comments and advice. Sometimes I click on a thread that may already have 4-5 pages or more, and I skim, but may miss something I'd like to know. I do try to remember to "search" before I start a thread, but I'm sure I'm guilty of posting something that has already been discussed. This board is by far the best I've been to, from the administrators to the participants, and I want to thank you ALL for that.

People who receive free fabrics or patterns or whatever and never bother to acknowledge receipt!
When I receive fabric from someone on the board, I thank them through pm and wright there address down so sometime down the road I can make something for them, to thank them for sending fabric to me so I can learn to quilt, I am working on a project know for one of the ladies that sent me fabric, I am a little slow because of pain, but those ladies well get a surprise eventually. HAHA! I think they must be 'cause sweat tastes salty and so do tears. 'Course so does playdough (I remember that one from kindergarten) but that's gross too.

Ooooh yeah and when my housemates use up the roll of TP or paper towels (but especially TP) and don't change it. I usually check now, but I'm stuck if I've already sat down on the potty!
