Cheese is my comfort food. If I had to give up cheese or die I would probably have to die. Cheese is and has always been my highest dollar grocery item, when the kids were home and still with just DH and myself. We both eat cheese every day.

Mmmmm, anything lemon or cranberry. The ultimate would be a bowl of lemon frosting and a plate of lemon cookies - kind of a lemony take on chips and dip :)

for me its homemade bread with butter & REAL chocolate sprinkles.... its a dutch thing... my grandmother had one of those antique jelly things you keep on the table with 3 or 4 different kinds of jelly in them... she always had homemade strawberry & raspberry jelly, apple butter & chocolate sprinkles...

it sure guaranteed that all us grandkids would finish our meal!

You'll crack up over this. My friend and I were spending some time in Europe and thought we'd be so cool -- buy french bread and cheese -- and really fit in. We bought it but had no idea what we were getting. Stuck it in our bags for later.
Here we were crossing the English Channel and got hungry. Out came the bread and then the cheese! Oh did it ever stink when we opened it up!!! Never in our lifetimes had we expected that. Guess what! Over board it went. Now we thought even the fish wouldn't eat it, but in retrospect they probably did (being so close to the continent and all)!!!
So, you are welcome to my share of stinky cheese. Enjoy and Happy New Year!
