I grew up in the Bronx, NY, married DH in 69, moved to Staten Island, NY in 74, bought our house and raised our 2 kids there. After 33 years on Staten Island, we retired to Casa Grande, Az. Love small town living -- we're right in the middle between Phoenix and Tucson.

Here to stay till they carry us out. Just miss DD and hubby and the rest of the family back home in NY. (sniff)

We lived on Staten Island for 33 years. It was always a toll to leave the Island, and after a while, the tolls choke you. If they fixed the roads, you wouldn't mind, but NY is pothole city.

Between tolls and $3.89/gallon gas, I have to say I'm glad to have moved away. No tolls and $3.20 gas in Casa Grande, Az.

It stands for Army Air Force Exchange Services. The world wide headquarters is in Dallas. They keep the exchanges full wherever there is a need for a store and do a great service to our men overseas.
