I feel for all of you. We have gotten very lucky so far, highest temp was 92, but we have been having pretty high humidity. Right where we are we have had some nice rains. In every direction (within 20 or so miles) they have been having 4-6 inch rains, hail wind etc. For some reason we have been spared. Maybe because we were buried in snow from early Nov till April last winter. Unbelievable snow drifts and cold. The snow storm the day before Christmas until 2 days after left us completely snowed in. DS came to dig us out of the house. Haven't seen it like that in 60 or so years.

Here in Orange Park it has been unbearable. Very high 90's with index at 103 to 110. Also with thunderstorms and alot of rain. It is so hot and humid it isn't funny. It drives my copd crazy. I stay in. I only open the doors for the dogs to come in and out. Nasty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Always fun trying to breath in the humidity. I have a mild form of Copd at least for now. I can't imagine it getting worse . Its like trying to breath through a cotton ball now.

Our daughter got married last Saturday in Chattanooga, and the whole week before the wedding was SOOO hot. Wedding day was high 98. We're from NY and couldn't stand the heat, so after the wedding we headed north. Now we're in Bangor, Maine, and it's still hot!!!

Looks like its really hot over there, but its hot here too in Andalucia Southern Spain, we are currently hitting 34C daily and its been hot and sticky. At the moment it now 8.25pm and its around 85F. I am expecting it to get hotter, as August is the hottest month here when it can get into the 40/45C Last year we recorded 120F on our patio.

A long time ago I went to Needles, CA in August. Unbelieveable. I didn't know it could get so hot. It was an extremely dry heat.

Not me. I'm in the San Francisco Bay area and today is really cool. The fog has kept our temperatures down. We are having the coolest summer in years.

well if you are missing the heat you can find it over on this side of the country. And you are more than welcome to have it back. :D
