I have let my house go to long and have vowed to not to quilt until my house is clean, pray for me to get it done quickly, and that it doesn't kill me. lol
Littlehud I like the ideal of "just throw the stuff on their beds and they can figure it out. I close the doors and just forget it."

I have a little helper come and help me. I ask my granddaughter if she wants to sew but first I need to clean then I will pick her up. She's 15, so she's says " I will help you clean gramma" Isn't she great?

OK-end of rant; I feel better.
My DH is the same way! I can tell what he had for breakfast and everywhere he has been in the house! sigh ;-)

When the date on my tables show it's been 1 yr since I dusted, THEN I'll dust...and not a day sooner! :)

i must be lucky i have no husband to complain about the house [i got rid of the idiot] it's only me and my dogs and they don't care how much of a mess the house is in.i just shove the dishes in the dish warsher about ever three days i always forget to put them away oh well the dish washer makes good storage than i never need to clean the kitchen cabinets the laundry get done as needed and any one that don't like it dosen't need to come back

I had to laugh about the socks. I buy one kind for dd, one for dh and one for myself. It's just a matter of sorting whose is whose then they all match so why mate? I am a folding freak though, towels a certain way, washcloths a certain way, undies a certain way. However, the rest of the house seems to deteriorate before my very eyes, or at least it has by the time I look up from my machine.
