I have a web site that is great. Check it out. Flylady.com. Puts the house on a rotating system so that you don't have to clean the entire house at one time. 15 minutes is the key. having routines and you can make it work for you and customize the plan for you. Love it. it is like I don't even clean anymore and my house is always 15 minutes to being picked up. That is how long in takes me to get things back in order. ( OK not always but most of the time.) and no I am not

I am with you on housecleaning. It's one of those crummy things we have to do and I for one am not good at it. I have dishes, laundry, ironing, all stacked up and no place to go!! I'd rather be on this forum, or sewing or reading. Susan

Just a short serious note here -

I try to remember to be grateful that

1) I have a home to clean
2) Food to prepare
3) There are people around that I like most of the time
4) The capability to still be able to clean and cook - although that is no guarantee that those things will happen! :?

5) And that I have "toys" to play with :-)

I am the same way! I do like to keep the laundry caught up, only because I want things folded the right way! And things get out of the dryer before they get wrinkled. I hate wrinkles! Every time I buy my husband a new package of socks, he gives half to our son! Makes me so mad! So they now have the first letter of their name on the bottom of the sock with a marker. When it starts to fade where I can't read it, I leave the basket for them to do. Only thing different is, I very seldom get to sit at my sewing machine. I work a FT and PT job. I have so much to get finished and so much I want to start.
