DS buys Hanes socks - when he gets a new package he'll ink (with a laundry pen) the H in one pair, the A in the next pair, the N in the next pair, etc.

It makes it a lot easier to pair them up.

I know what you mean, we have an organ and my DH will come out of the bathroom and put his cloths on the organ. All he needs to do is walk 10 steps, if that, to put them in the washer. Men. :hunf: LOL

ILove2qult: we have a clothes chute (sp?) IN the bathroom. Very handy, drop clothes down and they land in the basement. But, if you leave them on the bedroom floor, they stay there until someone else (me) drops them down the chute!! DH just doesn't get it--he reminds me of the character in Peanuts, Pigpen who has dirt all around him. DH doesn't drop dirt--he just drops "stuff" everywhere LOL. Gotta love 'em!!

ROFLMBO- Thanks for the laughs ladies. I just finsihed vacuuming my "office" and was wondering if anyone else did that every day. I don't like the little pieces of threads that get on the floor while I am measureing to sell things. I like someone's idea that every day I do about 1 hour of some cleaning and it will stay cleaned.
My kiddos are grown and gone,yahoooo... DH just made us breakfast and brought me coffee. He is so good when I am on here. Can't complain about his cooking. But.....when he goes to bed, tv is left on, lights, everything, blanket on the floor, etc. We are quilters, not cleaners. LOL

I quilt and when I need a brake, I clean. I must say that since starting to quilt, when I do the housework it is quite noticeable because I let it go longer than usual. An why not?

With quilting you have something to show for it when you get done. Cleaning doesn't STAY done!

Cleaning is something that only shows when one doesn't do it.

I live alone and there is one thing about that that I never feel bad about and that is if something is a mess, IT'S MY DOING!
