Mix equal parts vinegar and rubbing alchol. Use 5 drops in ears and put in cotton ball for 5 minutes. Heals earaches. Especially good for little ones after swimming because it prevents swimmers ear. The doctor told me the alchol dries up excess water and vinegar is a natural germ fighter.

Are you serious??? OMG I'm gonna try that!!

also good to get grease and oil out of clothes, when my hubby worked in factory had to wash his clothes this way
To get grease out did you just use a cup of vinegar in laundry or did you make a mixture to spray on to pre-treat? If mixture, what was the mixture ratio? Thx.

Sometimes you see a special pickling vinegar that is a higher % ... am thinking this might be what you are referring to.

I love, love, love vinegar. First of all it's great in the kitchen where it is meant to be. I also use it to get odors out of clothes. When I used to use cloth diapers I used it for the odors and it also brightens them. It's great to clean wood floors with and of course windows. I use it on my stove top griddle to clean the gook out of those groves after burgers or steaks. It is a wonder when my daughter burns something; soak the pan and all of the residue will come up. For the pans I also use old wine that has expired because it the acidity that degreases it and gets the gunk out; like deglazing in cooking.

I use white vinger in a Downy ball instead of fabric softener. Makes everything extra soft and a lot cheaper than fabric softener.

Instead of rinse agent in your dishwasher ... use vinegar!

I have trouble with those little black bugs and my mom told me to put a bay leaf or two in a small bowl and set the bowl in the cupboard or wherever you see the bugs..windowsills etc and they are drawn to the bay leaf and die..I tried it and it works!!

I use it full strength in a spray bottle and spray close to the weed or weeds. Be careful for the lawn.

Good Luck
