And I don't appreciate having to get up and take a squirming, obviously ticked off, lizard outside to somewhere safe.

And yes, this is a frequent occurrence. I guess I should be grateful it's only lizards???
I'll make you a trade. DH has a cat who wants to bring me SNAKES!

Thank God we don't have lizards. I would not appreciate that no matter what time of day it was.

Oh, come on ladies, you wouldn't get mad at your husband for offering you breakfast in bed, and he was even letting you pick the best part you wanted. FOFLMAO

Help. Bartholomew is 4 months old and only weighs 2 pounds. He has had the feline lukemia test, had the shots he needs, extensive blood work, stool samples sent to a special lab to check for parasites. change his food to different organic foods every week, xray of his belly--and still no diagnoses. He is starving all the time. When I feed him and his sister, he runs between her bowl and Penelupe's bowl and gulps his food down. Within three to five minutes he poops it all out. It is extremely runny and then it gets on him, so then I have to bathe him. We keep the litter box very clean. I sit and watch him eat and wait until he loses it and clean his box. When he is not eating, I check the box every half hour to make sure it is clean. At night I get up every 3 hours to check the litter box and clean it if I need to and give Bartholomew another bath. Our vet is going to a convention this weekend and said he would discuss his case at one of the senimars. He is checking with a specialist tomorrow. Does anyone have any suggestions? known of a case like this? (please don't tell me if you know a kitten that has died from this)

One of my cats got very skinny very fast, but it was from a pancreatic disease that came on very fast. When he got down to 3 pounds, unfortunately, I had to have him euthanized becuase he couldn't eat. He was 18 at the time. I hope you feline improves and that they are able to come up with some answers for you. I hope your cat enjoys a long life and that whatever is currently ailing him will be rectified soon. It's almost as if your cat doesn't have a proper digestive system., or his food isn't going into the digestive state like it should. Keep us informed.

Bartholomew had a test for all parasites, it was negative. We have spent close to 400.00 this past 2 weeks. But I would gladly spend that much and more to get him well.

Cannot say I've ever experienced a live and kickin lizard dropped into my bed by my feline freind...but sure have had more than enough early wake up calls by 'ol furry britches. And agree, they just want us to move out off of the nice warm bed to take the entire thing over themselves. THAT GOT OLD! We just shut the bedroom door. Ends the problem. Maybe you could place your dog's bed in an area which could also be closed off...to avoid burrowing lizards bothering them at night too. OR, just put the darn cat out for the night! IF it would be safe of course. NO more kitties around here for me...I miss 'em but they DO tend to get too bossy...at least my abby did. That is a strange breed...most are not so demanding of their people.
