no, not much...most look so raggy and the others they put such an outrageous price on it you'd think all was lined in gold! So I mainly look for unigue table cloths for the material. I suppose if you look hard enough and visit at least 200 booths you may find something!

Welcome from GA. I love KS. Lived in Leavenworth for 5 years (military) and would still be there if the beach was closer!

It made me so sad to read that you lost your quilts, stash, and antique quilts. Can you tell us what happened? (If I am being nosy and you do not want to say, I apologize!)

Welcome. I just joined in July and have found that everyone is very helpful. I have been quilting for about 15 years and also love to do hand applique. I am into doing baby quilts right now, they go so much faster than the larger quilts.

Hello Judy,
Welcome to the Board from Memphis TN.

I have been to Baldwin many times, as I used to be UM Pastor in KS.
Baker was where I went to Annual Conference.

I wish I had been quilting then. It would have relieved a lot of stress.
I loved Kansas and miss it very much.
I lived in Moran, Soldier, Silver Lake, Manhattan, and Riley.

Hello from Wichita! born and raised here :) I learned to quilt in 2nd grade from a wonderful teacher who had 9 patch blocks cut out for us to stitch on when it was too cold to go outside during those cold Kansas winters.

Pat,

Baldwin City is about 2 1/5 hours from Wichita. We are about 40 minutes south west of Kansas City and 10 miles south of Lawrence.
