Yep, we are a bunch of mis-fits that really don't fit into other groups, but the group is VERY active and trys to learn something NEW each month we meet!

Thanks for the Welcome! ♥

My DH and I used to snowmobile in Wyoming for years when we lived in Colorado. I love your state. Used to trailer my horse up there and ride for miles and miles (days) on the open prairie with a friend who used to live there.

I, too, belong to two quilting groups, doesn't mean we quilt every week but sure do have a great time looking at each other's patterns and fabrics etc. Sharing tips and ideas are very valuable. Julene in AZ
Hi Julene!

LOL :D - Yeah, we have a LOT of Colorado people up here, I think it is because all of Texas is in Colorado and you don't have room anymore! (Local joke, nothing against Texans - we have children & grand children living in Texas!) ;)

Yeah, Wyoming is pretty special - not many people live here just under 550,000 people live in the WHOLE state! ;) We kind'a like it that way!

Thanks for the Welcome - I sure appreciate all the GREAT people here on the Quilting Board! ♥

I love your wind pictures and boy are they true LOL That and the quick change weather LOL I have a problem every time I drive through I get through Rock Springs and it starts to snow (does not matter what time of year LOL) and I end up in Rawlings waiting it out.
No, not offending you or your state - you know there are other states that grow potatoes, but I just prefer the ones from Idaho!

I found those on the net - but have seen them before and wanted to share them all with the Quilting Board. Glad you like the pictures! Yep - if you don't like the weather, wait a few minutes, the wind will change directions and we will have something new! LOL :D

Interstate I-80 was put in the WRONG place. The natives here will tell you that and so will the truck drivers. They will take 30 (original location for cross country travel before I-80) when the weather gets bad.

Rawlins is a better place to stay than Rock Springs for SURE! Safer too!
