I like the suggestion of doing the train tracks on the borders. That would really look great. I don't know how much trouble they would be to do though.

I saw a quilt on this board a few days ago that someone had done for a man who had worked for the railroad with this kind of border and really liked it.

Thanks everyone for all your suggestions. Love the idea of the tracks, but don't know how I'd do it. If anyone knows the quilt Mom-6 saw with the railroad tracks, would you please let me know where to find it. I missed that one. Don't know how I'd go about doing that. Will definitely add another border. So easy...what was I thinking? Obviously I wasn't! Thanks again for sharing.

Love this one, my grandson loves Thomas he has a set of trains at both gramas and one at his, may i ask where you found the fabric with the individual engines with names. I looked everywhere at christmas time for thomas fabric couldn't find any. Thanks in advance. Denise

Hello and welcome ;-) from a snow filled and snowed in Michigan!! Where did U find the Pattern for the attic windows ? were they hard to do?? It was actually a sheet that I found at our local Goodwill store. I reinforced squares with fusible web (they say you shouldn't use sheets for quilting). Always worth checking out places with used stuff!
