My best friend lives in Franklin North Carolina and she works at a really lovely quilting shop there called "A Stitch in time".The owner is so darn nice!! I bought my first featherweight sewing machine from her.If you ever get a chance to go that way,it is well worth the trip.

Also in Greensboro is Ye Olde Forest Quilters which I really enjoyed. I think it's fairly new. Better than Randy's (ducking for cover now from all those Randy die-hards)

Hi, I am in Haw River. Are you near me? I don't need an excuse to travel to a quilt shop and love Mary Jo's. Have you been to Thimble Pleasures in Chapel Hill? Olivia

I've not been these, but I'm going to add it to my list of places to visit. Thanks!

I don't know how far that would be, since I don't know where Haw River is. I'll look you up on the map later this afternoon. I think Thimble Pleasures was on the shop hop last year, and that was the only time I was there. I'm actully very lucky as there are several shops near me, I just enjoy getting out and seeing new ones.
If you are coming toward Raleigh Durham, PM me and maybe we can get together at one of the shops.

Me too, I'll bookmark this message. After Memorial Day maybe we can plan something.
