    As I use 12.5" blocks much more frequently than the 10.5" blocks that this pattern makes, I changed the measurements to use 4.5" and 3.5" squares to make the larger block I need. I love it when the points are not cut off. Thanks for sharing. This will make great scrappy star blocks.

    I love these "floating" stars. I've done 3 quilts with that pattern so far.

    Thanks great pattern. I’ve been wanting to do an Amish style quilt with black background this will work perfectly and my stars will have all their points to boot! Thanks Shelbie, for the size option!
