MSQC Block Magazine, 3rd issue

I got the first one "idea book" it was called. fits well. not all pattern instructions are in there, one must see the tutorials or buy rulers, etc. So i cancelled my subscription. i don't really need another magazine, idea book.

I'm liking the Block magazine. Any other subscription I've done has had an "off" issue as soon as I subscribed. Some more than 1. If I remember correctly you can suspend your subscription & restart later if you want.

I got the third issue but also canceled it going forward. I have too many patterns now and can just look online if I ever get to where I can make one of the projects! I like the format and projects and find it very clear but have way too much.

I loved the quilt top that had a giant star surrounded by 5" blocks. I will most definitely make that quilt - you could also use a layer cake instead of the charm packs - just cut it up into 5" squares. I love this book/magazine but I still keep my other mags too.

Very nice magazine (book) and I will get much use from it. I appreciate it much more than other magazines out there. You have to remember Jenny uses mostly precuts and because of that her patterns and ideas will reflect that choice. Are there any truly "new" patterns or just different ways and fabrics to put quilts together? Not too many, I think.

I do like this magazine, so different from the others. I am keeping my subscription. I enjoy just looking though it and the price is so great. Having just been out to Hamilton last week, I applaud everything they are doing for their community! Just a win-win! I got to go see what the daily deal is now.

I like the subscription and I will continue to subscribe as $6 isn't going to make a difference to me one way or the other but it will make a difference to Missouri Star Co to keep the ideas, great service, and informative fun videos coming. I think what Jenny and her family has achieved starting with the basics is worth supporting with $3 month for a nice book.
