Default New Owners for Keepsake Quilting !!!

Just saw this and had to share. Hopefully their open hours will expand soon as the last owners had them closed 3 days a week!

Thanks for the info, Betty. I did notice that the catalog was fewer pages. And I have always loved their catalogs! Let's hope the new owners get it back on track!

Interesting comment about not sourcing out the kits - while I usually do not buy kits - the last one I bought from them was cut dreadfully. And ... they are planning to make it bigger!

That's crazy to close for 3 days a week. I get closing for one day, but 3.........

I wish the new owners well. I hope they can turn things around.

How interesting. Thanks for sharing! I had no idea all that was going on behind the scenes, or that the business had suffered under new ownership. Having 'investment firms' running a quilting store sounds like a recipe for trouble.

Wishing new owners much success...good to see a quilt shop come back to life, rather than be shuttered!

Thank you for sharing! Keepsake Quilting is the first quilt shop I ever visited (in 2000). I, too, am wishing the new owners much success.

F & W Media has also been purchased four different times. They purchased Fons and Porter in 2006, just one of their acquisitions. I purchased several Fons and Porter publications and each time my credit card info was stolen...lots of charges. Of course, I didn't have to pay, but it was a pain to redo my card and subsequent card number being stolen.
Credit card companies sometimes, don't tell you where they trace the problem to, but mine did.....F&W. They eventually put out a notice that their security was breached......six months later. Great that they are no longer involved with Keepsake.
