How about doing an all machine embroidery binding? There are tutorials out there that walk you thru' all the steps. I have photos on my website photo gallery of the all machine embroidery bindings that I embroidery stitched on my quilts and customer's quilts. I really enjoy stitching them with the embroidery stitches. They are fun to stitch!

I don't mind doing simple bindings. It's a "in front of the TV project".

You are so not alone..I hate binding..don't mind stitching the binding on the front but I despise doing the hand finishing. I am so anal about doing neat little stitches..it takes me forever to bind a bed sized quilt.

Binding is my favorite part, too! I think it is a fun way to finish the quilt. I hand stitch the back of the binding down, and curling up in my chair doing the final stitching on the binding is heaven to me.

I don't like binding either. I had one quilt that was all done except for binding and it sat for about 6 months before I finally got it bound. I think it would have sat even longer but I wanted to put it in a local quilt show so had to finish it. Now that's it's done and the show is over I love having it on my bed.

I like to do binding...it's relaxing and I do it while watching TV...in no time at all, it's done!

I, too, love to do binding. I didn't use to, though. I think when I finally learned to do it right, especially for mitered corners and joining the ends together at the end, is when I started to love binding. I especially love the hand stitching! And most of all, I love that the quilt is done when I put in that last stitch! :D
