    I would never cut that up, it is beautiful. I think a quilt raffle would be perfect.

    You might check to see if your LQS or local guild has someone who can appraise the value of this quilt. I would think that if a border were added, then the quilt quilted - it could be raffled off or sold to help with funding for your group. Please don't cut it up, it's part of history and there aren't many older quilts left, especially in what seems like pristine condition.

    Please do not cut that quilt! It is beautiful and you would loose the effect of the design. Finish it off and raffle it or sell it as is to top bidder. I wouldn't mind having it myself!
