I notice that I shy away from black, not because I don't like it but because it bothers my eyes when I'm working with it. I don't know why that is either because my eyesight is good.
I'm going to try to use it more because I see some spectacular quilts on this board with black.

I used to avoid greens, but after making a green quilt, I found I can work with it and like it. I don't really like purple much, but I am working on a purple and green Trip Around the World, so go figure .

I love yellow and red. In scrap quilts they make it pop and sing for me. And I'm getting bolder by incorporating more blacks into my quilts too, something I never did before.

The only colors I will not use at all are the neon bright colors... Ugh! I hate those.

I hate all the brights. Never, or hardly ever, use orange or purple. Years ago I was told purple was for old ladies. Even though I am an old lady I still avoid it.

I find sewing with black to be very challenging for the eyes. It's not that I don't like it, it's just hard to see.

I wouldn't say a specific color. My dislikes are more about certain shades of some colors. Can't stand Barney purple, but I like deep, rich purple. I'm picky about light blues. If they have a bit of gray or teal in them, they're ok. But I dislike what most people think of as baby blue. Not a fan of cheddar, either.

My husband, bless his sweet heart, doesn't seem to see shades. He will wear olive green shorts with a kelly green polo and think he's matching because they're both green.

Not crazy about orange, have very little in my stash. And I have no paisleys at all, give those away if I get any in a pack, etc. I know most people love paisley, but I've disliked it all my life.

I don't have a problem with colors. Interestingly I have zero green in my wardrobe but there is a lot of it in my quilts.

Yellows and pinks. I do not care for pastels at all and never wear them either.

I find that amusing, considering your board name.

I find brown tough - it is such a depressing colour
