Any ideas on quick ways to sell lots of fabric?

Whatever you do, I would surely buy some, luv me sum fabric! Sorry about your dog, poor thing! Know what it's like to be so close to your pet, the last cat I lost I vowed never to get that close to one again, but you can't help it!

I'm with a group called "Quilts for Giving". We make and donate 600+ quilts a year and there are about 12 of us gals. We receive no financial assistance so we "garage sale" for fabric. We usually pay .50 to $1 a yard for good cotton quilt fabric. When JoAnn's has a good sale, I buy it by the bolt. The shipping from your state to Oregon would probably kill me. Those flat rate boxes are $10.95 for the large size and up to 70 lbs.

The fastest way of all, and the way most people prefer NOT to use, is to sell cheap! No matter how good it is, and we ALL know how expensive LQS fabric is, you will not be able to sell it fast if you try to recoup the money you have invested in it. People are always looking for a bargain. That includes most of us. Sad but true. :?

I am interested in your varies prices and the types of your material. I will be buying a certain amout if the price is right. I do alot of chairty and sheriff,highway patrol and alot of childrens organizations.
Will be waiting to hear from and thank you if things work out right.
If we are able to make a deal it will ber paid by check. but probably a money order instead.

Don't cut it up.. that's WAY too much work.. I don't usually buy FQ.. unless I just have to.. I buy yardage.. It's much more usable.
Contact your local quilt guilds.. Sell it cheap.. (I can hear people screaming already).. I have always felt it's better to sell something for a bit less than you might like and have the stuff sold and gone.. No sense in pricing it at what it should sell at and have to mess with longer than you want!
