If you want to get your fabric organized check out Bonnie Hunter's Scrap User System. I just did a half hour a day and got mine all organized so I could find my fabric. It took some time, and actually can be addicting!

I blogged the original post. Here's the link for that: http://www.quiltingboard.com/blogs/a...ery-b7901.html . Please try to follow the link and see if it 1. brings you there, and 2. lets you post/comment.
Thanks!

I had that happen too, notified Admin. According to Patrice there is some confusion on the thread and it is being held pending further investigation. Perhaps it has something to do with copyright type issues as Bonnie Hunter does a sew-a-long with it on a Yahoo group. Just guessing. But I am sure we will hear something about it when the issue has been thoroughly investigated.

Here is a link to Patrice's response... http://www.quiltingboard.com/qb-help...s-t166062.html . I did send a PM to her for alternatives, but it looks like a new thread would work. Would everyone be agreeable if I started a thread entitled 'Orca Bay Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt sew along' (or something like that) and posted under Main? We can then start posting pictures of the fabrics we've selected while we wait for the fun to start. Let me know

ok, I have subscribed to the blog so hopefully it works. I would have never even thought as to there being a copyright issue with us all doing it together on here. We have done that with many quilts on the old forum and never had an issue. Maybe its just a bug and will be fixed soon.

Just got done reading a PM from Patrice. I gave her all the information I had from the mystery on the Quiltville site and what Bonnie has posted on the Facebook page to another poster about setting up a thread on a forum. She is looking the info over and will get back to me. I hope no one minds, beings I started this thread, I told her that I would take charge of any group or whatever we come up with that we all can participate in.I will need folks to help me though. I'm a cancer patient and some days I'm lucky I remember my name. One thing I do know, we will not be allowed to post a copy of the PDF file of the instructions. This is because Bonnie plans to take down the directions in May and add it to her new book.
I'll post here when I hear what's up

Thanks Coyotemagic for all your work in setting this up for us. We did this with the Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt and those postings went on for a year! We just followed the book and posted our blocks each week. I don't see where this would be any different. We are only asking questions and posting our progress as we go along! Everyone will have to go to Bonnie's blog to get each weeks instructions.
