I found some time to work on a double Irish chain. I thought I would havie it done before now. Too much of life got in the way lately. Reteat coming in a few weeks. Guess I will get my fill of quilting then.

carol aug...How do you put on the circles? Are they applique?

Ive been working at half pace today...Looks like I may have to finish the purses tomorrow...keep getting diverted with this computer!! But dont have much time left to finish..can get them done if not late tonight, tomorrow.....The delivery is Monday for all of them, so it's all good!! May stop for the night, and work on my handquilting project! Will post pics tomorrow when I have one of the kids to help me!

Pat625, I used 506 spray and then I iron it on to the squares. Then its easy to applique since it is ironed onto the squares. Very easy and quick. I have two more rows to go than borders. Yah! We were really busy today so I was not able to spend the whole day sewing, I am too tired to do any more tonight.

I spent some time hand quilting. I also planned out my friend's quilt.

wish I could spend time with my Janome today but I have a ton of tomatoes to pick, and freeze before the frost comes.
