Getting ready to sew, I have 6 blocks to make for the class I am taking at the LQS. Great class, learning so much. I can't really do much until my overnight guest goes home, she wants to help Nannie sew. A 3 year old is really not a lot of help, but tons of fun!

I'm catching up on QB with oatmeal and coffee ... then I will spend the day sewing. Need to sandwich and quilt a lap blanket top, finish some flannel loungy pants I made yesterday, start Christmas runners..........

I've been up since a little after two this morning. I'm working on a pair of quilted pillow tops with owls all over them. My MIL collects owls & will love these pillows! It's a gorgeous print!! I've got both tops sandwiched & ready to go. My eyes started crossing so am taking a break for now. Maybe more coffee! :-)

I'm just taking a break from making doll clothes for my 2 1/2 year old great niece who wants a baby doll with lots of clothes for Christmas. My sister (her grandma) says it's impossible to buy doll clothes so guess who is stitching. I'm so glad that I kept all the original Cabbage Patch and Preemie CP patterns from the early 1980's when I last stitched them for my daughter and my nieces. They were all in my doll bin just waiting. Now I'm gathering up bits of t-shirt and fleece fabric and having fun creating a fashion wardrobe.
