I thought it was hilarious, too. (Life's short. Laugh a little. See the humor. )

I only like the "real" Sunbonnet Sues from the 30s. I made my 1st Great Granddaughter a SB Sue quilt when she was born 11 years ago.

Like many others I have never been a SBS fan.
As for Bad Sue and Kill Sue, count me in!
I've had so many laughs over the years thanks to them!

How about ..... Quilt Police Sue?

I say go for it, Iceblossom! Make the Bad Sue quilt. It sounds like a lot of fun!

Sunbonnie and Clyde!

I've never seen a bad sonbonnet Sue quilt block, or Killer Sue, but it sounds right up my alley! I'll have to check out the posted links.

Our quilt guild made some for a quilt show one year, the message was "Don't touch the quilts". Mine was a hand coming out of the clouds with lightning coming from a finger and knocked her silly. Background was a church with a quilt show sign. We had a good time making them.

At least 20 years ago a local quilt show featured "Sunbonnet Sue and the Road to Perdition".
Very irreverent (shocking to some) and equally hilarious!

That's my favorite. I love the traditional Sue as well. I've never made one, though.

I did a google search and found several Sues that were really irreverent, or at least really cute. The ones that I liked best were firing squad Sue, Guillotine Sue, Hester Sue (with a Red A on her dress), Mob Sue (she's swimming with the fishes), gator Sue, Cowgirl Sue and Old Lady Sue (Red hat and purple dress).

I'd love to see this as it's being created.
