I leave everything outside in a plastic bag. I spray it with Lysol and leave it outside for a couple of days.

I don't want any creatures in my home.

But you can get them any where.

BED BUGS..........yuck! Every time I hear about them I itch all over even though I don't have them. I did buy a box of fabric that had dead ones in the fabric. When I buy fabric from garage sales I always leave it out doors and hang it on the close line for a day in the sun and burn the boxes/bags that they came in my fire pit.

I went thru this when I was a little girl. Thought with DDT , they were finally eliminated. Now my friend and I are leaving next Saturday for a nine day bus tour to Chicago. Was raised there but haven't been back in fifty years and so looking forward to the trip. Now BEDBUGS!!!!!

Diamond tours has checked all the hotels etc where we will be
staying but who knows. I think when I come home, I will leave all my luggage in the garage and wash clothes and fumigate the rest.

Other bugs that can invest your home are sand fleas, fleas, wood ticks, spiders, and masquitoes...etc etc. They are all blood sucking bugs that can carry dease.

When I get newly purchased fabric home, no matter where I get it from, it goes directly in the washing machine. Then any hitchhikers are taken care of before it goes in my stash.
