hugs to you. You should not feel guilt for things that are WAY beyond your control. May this year see your needs met.

I'm sorry to hear that. You worry about yourself and not the ones you made promises too. If they don't understand then that's their problem. Hopefully something will come thru for you. Bless you sweety.

Warm hugs to you. My husband's job got downsized and out the door over 2 years ago. He still hasn't found a job, he just turned 61 and no one seems to want to hire an elder. His unemployment ran out last July. I retired early but my SS doesn't cover everything. Hubby can't collect his yet. I'm thankful our son has been able to help from time to time but we try not to burden him. I'll pray your family gets well and 2011 will be a good year for employment.

I am sure that everyone is quite aware that things happen far beyond our control. I am in total sympathy with you! I lost my job almost 2 years ago and I also am still unemployed. I will continue to receive unemployment until mid march, after that I dont know.
God has challenges for all of us, we may not understand the reasons, but in the end we are stonger and have a good understanding of who our friends are. Please take care and I have realized that times like these are truely what brings people closer.
Good Luck.
Michele
