I like to work on more than one project at a time. Keeps me from getting bored with one.

I am working on several different projects, some I am piecing, one I am FMQ and one I am paperpiecing. Keeps me from getting tired of any project.

    to sosewcrazy
Amen to that. I am retired after 50 years of doing what somebody else wanted me to do. Also used to have nasty headaches, tummy aches, etc.
Now the cats and I do whatever we want, when we want. We all have our own lives to live. Sometimes we just watch the birds, deer, squirrels, turkeys, etc. out the window (and we live in the city). We don't do sick any more, either.

I too am a beginner and have found I am a person of "great beginnings." Just when I get part way started on something another "great idea" comes to me. I'm trying hard to focus on finishing my great beginnings before my sewing room turns into a complete disaster.

I don't call them UFO'S, I call the works in progress, WIP'S. because they are always in the midst of my thinking and planning on how to finish them up. I almost always have two going at the same time and some hand work to work on extra.

:P Love your avatar. My place is so small that even though I am organized I am afraid that I wouldn't be able to find what I needed if I had more than one project going at a time. Would love to find out though. Maybe when I get a larger place.

yes that is the way i do it. I have about 3 projects going at once. It helps me to be able to switch when i need a fresh look. Now if I could just have 3 machines to work with.
