    What about Jimmy Hendricks? Woodstock? I was there...born 1946...LOL and I loved the lifestyle...very laid back and never ever did drugs!!!

    In those days I belonged to "Another Mother for Peace." The logo was a sunflower with the saying, "War is not healthy for children and other living things." It still seems relevant in these times.

    tortoisethreads...thanks for that link...I grew up in the 60's & hated the peace symbols/flower child/etc. at the time(like erstan947 I too was just born "old")....but looking at the sample they showed there brought back lots of good memories... :thumbup: Naomi

    Leisure suits, best represented by double knits

    Come to think of it, I think the quilt made entirely of double knits that my husband's Grandmother made for him is still around. Those things just don't wear out. (I graduated from high school in 1976)
