I think the board also inspires us all to new heights and levels of work. If it wasn't for this board I would never have used school glue( thought that retiring I would never see it again). I love how people give us positive and frank comments when we ask. It also stops lonely days, when you go for days without speaking to a real person.
I live it only problem with it though is I think I spend too much time on here and not enough sewing.

I love this board, and am every day telling someone about the wealth of information that can be found here. I have learned how to clean vintage machines, sew strips together to make squares (who knew???), found wonderful ideas (patterns) from pics posted by other more talented quilters than myself (now if I would just apply my ability to putting my own pics on view--I make pictures of every quilt I make; just haven't sat down and trudged through the process of posting them. Right now, I need to be out in my sewing room finishing up a quilt top that I have to display at a craft fair tomorrow....

This board is the greatest-better than any guild or group I have the misfortune to go to. I love it here as most are honest, caring and encouraging people. I have learned more here than any where else except for my late grandmother.

I had been sewing and quilting for many years when I first started using a computer and found this board. I have learned so many new ways of doing things and places to go for patterns and shopping. I want to thank you all for opening a whole new world of quilting and companionship to this old woman.
