Progress report: two rows done. Looked at them and have to rip out the first row. Off to a great start!

How large are your blocks going to be? How bif were your blocks before you made the HST? Can't wait to see your finished product. m

I agree with Scissor Queen. Go to the design wall and look at it a while, move them around untill you find the best look. Great start!

Beautiful blocks! I just did this with a baby quilt, one strippy half, the other polka dot. I ended up with an offset spiral setting. Post #436 in the thread.

I went through quite a few settings, including another alternative:

I love your blocks made with strips, I'm sure your quilt will be pretty. Look like you will be doing lots of quilts with your strips. The colors are very pretty also.

Google log cabin quilts and look at the different layouts. Look at any layout that is made of of half square triangles.

Just beautiful. Plain beautiful. There are so many ways to lay it all out as thepolyparrot sent. I love the top row, right pattern. How lucky you are to have all these beautiful fabric to work with!
