Ok the more I think about it. Maybe a rag quilt wouldn't be good for a wrap around SMOKER.... Anyone who ever made a guy flannel quilt..... Can you post a pic to give me some ideas.? Something quick & easy. I want it to go up fast

Here's some links to tell you how. I've never made one, but I think they go together pretty fast.

http://quilting.about.com/od/quiltpa.../rag_quilt.htm
http://jenyu.net/pj/stuff/ragquilt/
http://www.quilting101.com/styles/rag-quilts.html
http://quilting.about.com/od/ragquil...t_Patterns.htm

Or just Google "rag quilt" and you'll get lots of links!

Don't forget they have non-flammable batting like Dream Angel, it costs a little bit more, you can find it online if it isn't in your area. My local Joann's has it in the precut sizes.

Bev--my website has a bunch on it--and I psoted some directions on one of them. You could search in "Pictures." Or let me know if you can't find them and I'll send/post them when I get home.

Do you have access to old denim jeans? They are sturdy - and I think maybe more resistant to burns than flannel?
