it just popped into my head this morning if I could use these bobbins. the sears was a machine my husband bought for me when we were first married. never did run right but I made alot of our daughters clothes on it with alot of coaxing. the montgomery ward machine (which sadly do not have anymore) was set in a table. my brother bought for our mom when he was home on leave in '65 after his first tour of viet nam. our daughter made her clothes all through high school on it. mostly sentimental reasons I thought of using them.

Me too, but I don't have any computerized machines. If I did, I don't think I'd risk the chance of wear by using the metal bobbins in it. Why don't you just keep the bobbins in a small jar or dish just to look at when you feel like it, as a reminder to the past? No harm done there.
