I'd be afraid to use my vacuum. Could vacuum some parts out the way mine sucks!

I have a bernina 930 and featherweight, I use canned air and have watched my machine tech do the same. Short blasts. Both of my machines are metal and not computerized. I don't think I would use it on a computer machine, but old mechanicals, I think are fine. I have done it for years without any problem.

A pipe cleaner works great for reaching those hard places. Just be careful not to go jabbing around cause of the metal inside the pipe cleaner. I love using them.
