Hi Rachel and all, I missed the last one and love to join! I started the very first quilt for my DH who's B-day is tomorrow, I guess if I finish it Sunday it won't be too late to give it as a present.... I put half of the top together and have all the rows sewn. It is twin size but no borders.
I" post a pic but it is not a neat area! I'll post a pic of what I have.

I would like to join in on this. Heck with the plans of making zucchini relish! How does this work? Do we sign in to live chat or just check in once in a while on this forum? Not sure I will send a picture of my work area - what a mess! If I try to straighten it up at this time, I will never get any sewing done on Sunday!

Think I'm in. This might be just what I need to actually make some progress on a quilt top that has been taking way too long. Thanks for the idea!

I will post a new post here on Sunday, you can check in first thing there and then check in throughout the day as you sew. Easy peasy!!

Boy would I love to do this. BUT I am moving Thurs. I am suppose to be packing up my sewing room as I write. We have sold our 2300 sq ft colonial and bought a 1300 sq ft condo. The good thing is there is a walkup attic and a full basement. My plan is to make the 2nd bedroom my sewing room with a guest twin bed in it....Do you think I can make a cutting table to fit around the bed....hmm... We actually move in on Friday after 2 closings. At any rate, I would be interested in this idea in the future. I have put my quilting on hold for at least 6 months and am anxious to get my DS and his fiance's quilt made for their wedding in Dec. I have a graduation quilt to make for my dear step daughterwho is finally making her way...yeah!! I also have a few others in my head to do....LOL

I hope everyone is getting ready for tomorrow!! I am still going back and forth on a few projects, but I have one that I have been working on for a few years that I think I will see if I can make more progress on ..... See everyone tomorrow!

I went and bought backing fabric today!!!!! Got my diet pepsi's chilling, and my cookies at the ready. Let's see, laundry almost done, house tidied. Yep, I'm ready!! Got a college daughter home for a few hours, but she can watch movies with me while I'm sewing! Cannot wait!

I'll be there but are you sure you want a pic of my messy sewing room?
