Good luck on your cleaning project! I've been working on mine for about a month (it's upstairs and HOT!!) I'm finally beginning to believe that I may see a light at the end of the tunnel. Don't give up! Keep plugging!

Good luck! I finally had to do something. It was all over the place and I am on crutches for a few weeks after surgery. So if I wanted to even get in the room I had to clean up!

Oh hon, I know how you feel. I had an absolute DISASTER area. I started to work on it in November but got side-tracked with some very important family things.
Finally got in there in May and I'm ALMOST done. I actually showed "before" pictures and got tons of help from the board.
    I'll be posting soon.
If I can do it anybody can. I'm a major slob in the sewing room! It was so bad that I couldn't use it. I set up my Featherweight in the kitchen. Now that's pathetic for someone who has a room to sew in!:D

hello laura I do hope that by now you have gotten your sewing room looking like you want to go in it and get to quilting So that mess had better been cleaned up Its such a joy to have a healthy mind in a clean room you just feel so relaxed and able to function I do believe what your mother meant was the small messes you make when you are creating not the mess you seem to always leave behind from one mess to another etc........ So my suggestion to you is CLEAN UP YOUR MESS WHEN YOU ARE FINISH WITH ONE PROJECT BEFORE YOU GO ON TO ANOTHER
YOU WILL THINK ME ONE DAY HONEST YOU WILL
cause I am still thinking my friends and family for making me see things in a all new perspective SO GOOD LUCK on your new journey lol

Unfortunately, as bad as my sewing room looks, at this point in time, it is the best looking room in the house! Anyone wanna help me clean house so I won't feel guilty sewing?!?

My LQS is saving me her empty bolts so I can organize my fabric better. That is the main problem in my sewing room. Yes, it's kinda cluttered, but I have no problem with that!
