Craft Show Best Sellers

[quote=JSNOMORE]be careful doing things for sale out of pro team fabrics. it isn't legal and says so on the selvedge edge. Not to rain on your parade but I wouldn't want to see you get in trouble. It has happened around here twice.
Big fines.
I had a customer who wanted a baby quilt with U of Fla. fabric on one side and LSU on the other. I had her buy the fabric and just pay me the labor to make it. That's one way to get around it. But that wouldn't work for a craft show.

ITems that don't require your blood sweat and tears seam to do better. I am always disappointed and surprised at what sells at shows and what took so much talent and either sells for litle or not at all. Haven't done a show in yars because of that

A lot of work too, but still fun! Thanks!

We're coming into the holiday season, how about decorative banners to hang on the door for Thanksgiving or Christmas. Maybe some door hangars or mailbox covers. Bread baskets, unique baskets to contain holiday cards, a gift wrapping organizer station for gift tags, pens, scissors, ribbons, etc. holiday pincushions like turkeys or reindeer, book marks, quilted key chain fobs....just a few things that come to my mind.

Here is what I've made for 2 DIL's for their birthdays. Shoe Bags to hold a pair of shoes when they are traveling. Makes packing the suitcase much easier. I made them out of beige satin, trimmed with a wide sari trim (purchased on ebay) fastened with a satin ribbon, added a little bling with pearls, etc. looked like something a bride would have for her trousseau. Each bag holds a pair of high heels or anything else of the same approximate size. A matching roll-up bag is slimmer, longer and has pockets for jewelry. These are very quick and easy to make and look very expensive, but are cheap to produce.
