Looking for my Creative Grids Pineapple ruler I found this. I forgot all about it. I had the ruler for the book stuck in the book. It has different markings then the Creative Grids ruler and it looks like the ruler was bought separately from the book.

I did it!!
I have vanquished the beast!! Finally got through the first pineapple square using this tool. It actually IS indeed easy to use... if you follow the directions exactly as written and pay attention (imagine that!).
I'm jotting down a bunch of tips and things that I've learned while doing this. I just finished this first square today and I'm already halfway through with a second one (I need three of them for the pillow cover I'm making). Will probably post all the tips in a separate thread. This is definitely an instance where you need to not get too far ahead of yourself. Read the directions and do what they say, step by step. Slow it down a bit if you're a speed demon (I am) and don't worry about anything that's three steps ahead of where you are.
Here's the fist one!!
