Is that even a panto? It just looks like she did random squiggles. It's a nice quilt regardless and chalk it up to a learning experience. I think you should leave it as is, though.

Maybe she could do the squiggly lines in the opposite direction. Kinda like tic-tac-toe.

I agree, that isn't alot of quilting for a child that will love it to shreds.....the quilt itself is beautiful.

That's generally called an all over meander and is usually the cheapest quilting a longarm quilter does.

I agree, even if it is an all over meander it should do more than this.

I also think there should be a lot more coverage. It will probably be fine as it is, but I would definately talk to the longarmer about it.

I agree with everyone who said to contact the quilter. Even if you never said to quilt every square inch I'm sure you paid for more than that. Her reputation is on the line here and I would give her the chance to make it right. If she doesn't than I would let her know that I would never recommend her to anyone else.

My machine won't let my feed dog drop, so I don't have much luck freehanding, or I would have done it in the first place. She's supposed to be an experienced quilter, so I left it up to her. I don't know the designs on any machines, so figured she knew better than I would what she has. I didn't pay very much, but that's besides the point. My sister said I got what I paid for, but I was willing to pay lots more. I may even rip the entire thing out, and just stich in the ditch, or maybe I can convince my DH that I really do need a new machine. And she does have another one, just like that that she said she had about 2 rows to go. BLAHHHHHHHHHHHH
