Here is a pic of the quilt. It was also my first attempt at machine applique. If I could find the pattern, I'd probably do it over to soften the hard corners.

Color is a little washed out

LOL Mine would always be the middle roll of TP. And don't be so hard on yourself. No one saw your "mistakes"!

My daughter made a Black, white and red wall hanging for her bathroom. It has ladybugs on it and that is her bathroom's theme. (She even had RED walls!!!!) So you can put them in a bathroom.

I have 2 beautiful small quilts in my bathroom. I'm happy and so are they.

My only thought on this one is that a quilt hanging there would be really handy for those times you are so sick you think you might as well try to sleep in the bathroom! My concern would be for mildew from the moisture but then the extra towels don't get mildew, do they? Hmmm.

A friend did a pieced and applique shower curtain. Ocean waves pattern with fish and shells appliqued on. Installed it on the outside of the regular shower curtain. Has a pieced lid and tank cover too, plus a couple wall quilts, one with sea shells. I doubt she will let me take a photo, but I can ask the next time I am over.

I've made toilet seat covers for our DD and 3 DIL. Colors match their bathrooms---the one that looks best is a Log Cabin design with 3/4 inch logs, sewn. They're all using them so I think that they must really like them!!??
