Wish I had a sewing room....but did just rearrange living room so that my sewing space is behind the couch...no longer between couch and fireplace. It works out well as we have a very long living room space.

Really miss the city - so much to do! Good luck on getting your space to work for you.
That's my plan! I have a 15x16 room and I'm growing out of it. When my mom passed I received alot of her furniture. No room in the house, have my own furniture. So her furniture made it's home in my sewing room.

I can't have my stash find a new location in another part of the house. DH will have me part with the furniture I'm not ready to let go yet. So I'll live in clutter until it's time to sell.

If you can keep your stash and move, great idea! other wise maybe having a sale of sorts! Good Luck!

I sometimes think the more space we have the more we fill. I agree. Less shopping and more sewing time. There is a point I can have so much stuff I can't find anything.

Ahhh, the word hoarder comes to mind....makes me really want to go clean up my sewing room........and it is not a whole floor of my house.....just a section of the lower level and that is getting a bit crowded....time to thin out.......

Looks like you need to sew more and shop less???? I know that can be a difficult pill to swallow. Or you could donate your fabric to charity?

Maybe you need to be a shop owner instead of a quilter...
