I piece by hand and machine. I quilt by machine. I have tried hand quilting, but have not been successful.

I love hand work, but I don't have the patience for it. I tried machine quilting, but I like BIG quilts. Then I tried QAYG. Sounded like a good idea, but I didn't really like it. Now I have a LA and found that is what works best for me. Guess I'm a little lazy. Ok, a whole lot lazy.

Well , so far most of the quilts I`ve done have been hand quilted, but, since January i`ve pieced 9 tops....all in need of quilting. I don`t think I can hand quilt all of these. so I must really, REALLY, REALLY try my hand, well machine at machine quilting or i`LL NEVER GET THEM AL DONE!!! LOL

Both love the hand look, however often make baby quilts and machine quilt them and send some out love to hand small projects, and tack down bindings.

I machine quilt all of mine, due to hand issues. Though I do hand sew appliques and smaller stuff occasionally~

Once upon a time, it was hand quilting,.... but times have changed and the machine is quicker.

Overall ratio: 1 for hand quilting
Overall ratio: 9 for machine quilting
