Thank you, thank you. I'm sort of like PigPen, I have fluff-------more places than I need it.

Blue painters tape is the best thing for temporary holding.
I misplaced my orange peeler once and almost cried.

I don't think I could live without painters tape now that I've used it so long. I also use a strip to mark my seam allowance on my sewing machine bed. I can't sew a straight seam without it. Actually I can't sew a straight seam at all, but with the blue tape it's a heck of a lot better

Glory be! Sounds like the ideal solution.

Safety pins taped to the sewing machine at stragic spot are great add on thread guides.

A Lateral file holder holds many of my templates.

For a portable design wall, I use foam core board, spray glue batting, black on one side and white on the other.

I use all empty glass jars to store any item or some cream jars. Love the plastic folders useful for storing but make templates as well. Pound stretcher cutting mats make great bases for bags.
Pastry cutters for applique shapes.
Trolley from garden centre to put machine on to pull to class (does this fit)
Magnetic large dish for nuts useful for any items. Especially holding screws when clean machine.
I use door to use as places to show quilts or design wall.
The over door hooks make great support for rods etc.
Handles off mugs etc.
amazon folders useful for winding fabric round for storage.

As a garage sale nut,I've come across aluminun 9x13inch cake pans with covers. Mirro ,I think is the brand.I usually don't have to give much. I like to keep one close at hand when I'm cutting blocks, scraps or whatever.Very easy to move about, can put the lid on if you need one; also can just as easy empty out if you need to bake a cake.

I use the small claw type hair clips to guide the thread from my cone stand. I use blue painters tape when I am doing grid quilting of straight line quilting. I glue my blocks together before sewing them to get the best match possible.

I wish I was close enough to MIL so I could do sewing in her room -- she would not be so lonely as we could visit more often and I could spend a lot of time visiting.
