Default Elmers Glue on quilts.

I've been reading a lot about the Elmers Glue for quilts instead of the spray. Always ready for new things I tried it on my latest small quilt. It worked gread "EXCEPT" no one mentioned about mitered corners. I usually sew my binding on by hand. When I came to the corner (I had made sure I had all the corners glued down) I couldn't get my needle thru the fabric. I had to wet the corners and let them dry then sew them down. Now I know not to put the glue on the corners. Merry Christmas and Happy Sewing
