What thread does everyone buy for machine quilting and the patchwork part of the quilt? What size?

Stores that have Paypal would be great as that is all I have for payment.

Thanks! :)

This website is Canadian and is clearing out their Aurifil thread at great prices. They also take PayPal. You can buy individual spools or they have different grab bags with assorted spools.

I love the 50wt. for piecing, and I've used the 40 wt. variegated for quilting. It's great thread and my machine loves it. I was using Connecting Threads and was having lots of tension and stitch problems. Once I switched to Aurifil, all the problems disappeared.

King Tut is from http://www.superiorthreads.com; all the quilters who machine quilt for me use it.
I don't do much machine quilting myself, use Bottom Line from Superior Threads when I do
Aurifil I bought from a Canadian company, thanks to a Board member who gave us a link awhile back. Make sure you get 50wt. for piecing.

I use Aurifil, Masterpiece (superior threads again) or Bottom Line to piece.

I like using Maxi Lock serger thread for piecing and machine quilting. It runs in my longarm great and love it for piecing because it is a thin strong theard. The seams press much flatter and you don't get quite as much bulk where seams meet.
