Love those IKEA Expedit bookcases! I went to the IKEA website and showed DH--now he's thinking about how he can make some for me too!
I'm happy that you have such a great sewing space!

Nice. I just bought a Kangaroo Aussie quilting table and anxiously awaiting its arrival. I think I am tallented enough to make my own shelves.

Your room looks great!

All you have to do to get him going is drag out a lot of tools and make a lot of noise like you are going to tear down a wall. He'll be there in a heartbeat.

Beautiful sewing room, and so neat. How long will it stay that way? LOL

It will be so GREAT to enter your work space and be creative. I just looked in a catalog at the IKEA shelves today and might just consider them. Love your space and thanks for sharing!

I also use the Expedit storage in my sewing room. I attached 2 of the 2X2 cubes together, mounted them on a 4X4 frame with rollers, attached a cutting mat to the top and made a rolling cutting/storage table. The additional height from the 4x4 frame and rollers makes the area counter height and easier on my back. No bending over to cut. With my limited space I can roll it against the storage wall when I don't need it and move it away when I need to get to my "stash."
