That is awful, but your only choice is to put on your big girl panties and deal with...I am sure you did lol. I had one of those days last week and said that is it going to get rid of machines, fabric and anything to do with sewing and have more room and a neat house....the next day I started over and got everything done without a hitch.

You should have a glass of wine and some chocolate and take a break.. Walk away from it for a short spell.

Yep. And it keeps getting worse. So off to bed, won't be able to sleep, soooo I guess I will just stay up, glad its the weekend.

OMG! I really feel for you, but also had to chuckle. EVERY SINGLE one of us have been there. There have been times I have said to myself: "I have made some gorgeous, difficult quilts, HOW can I be so STUPID??" LOL

Sounds like you should have stopped fro chocolates or tea long before the scissors got too close to the iron. the only consoloation is that what ever happens next has to be better!

My suggestion is quit trying to fix something that does not want to be fixed. Chalk it up to a practice run, use the
block for scrap, and start all over again fresh, after a little break, of course, plus a little mental uplifting.
