I finished two WIPs yesterday! The little May quilt that I'm doing each month on my calendar and my last Dear Jane block for our quilt group project! So now I can start TWO more, right?! :D

Visited my siater this weekend and she had 4 bags of fabric for me.. her friend had been having a clear out!! sooo this morning I set to sorting it all out.. I have made a bag up for my daughter, a bag up for my friend and I have quite a bit for myself.. question is.. what do I do with it all, as I have mentioned on here before very new to the craft and dont have a lot of idea!! also space is a problem for me.. asked hub to put me up shelves but that was 2 months ago!!.. so what ideas has anyone got??? there are a couple of lenghts that would make bed blankets.... if I trimmed them up a bit?? I need small projects to get me going ladies

Can you post some pics of what you've got Ellie? Then maybe we can throw some ideas around!

A lady at church is having a yard sale this Saturday and has a ton of fabric and notions. I told my mom that we have to be the very first people there so that we don't miss anything.

Way to go on finishing the WIPS!!

No not got facility to post pics as yet... but had a good sort through and kept a lot of florals, some plains, there was 2 big lengths of dark blue and black heavy cotton.. drill ?? we call it.. and its perfect for making bags for the caravan , so going to make a new awning pole bag, himself said he coud do with a few new bags for his odds and ends. so going to do that today.. it will use up some.

My husband has no concious!!! he came home last night and the dining room looked like a sale room!! and despite asking him for shelving... its still not' materialized' if you excuse the pun!! I get so frustrated when doing any sewing as I have to go through all the boxes and baskets stacked up to find what I need...

Just makes me soooooooooooooooooo annoyed with him

Better you should vent your anger here where we understand than yell at him  cause you can bet your sweet patootie he won't 'get it' :?: Sometimes the men in our lives do the sweetest things, and other times they make us wonder what we ever saw in them in the first place. Fortunately, most of the time for me at least, the sweeter outweighs the rest. And when it doesn't, I try to firmly bite my tongue! Doesn't always work, though
